Students graduate Gonzaga University
Julia Snider of Dover is among the Gonzaga University students who participated in graduation exercises during the university’s May 8 commencement ceremony at Spokane’s Veterans’ Memorial Arena.
These students have either completed their undergraduate degree or are expected to complete their degree requirements this year.
Gonzaga University is a private Catholic, Jesuit, and humanistic university providing education to more than 7,800 students.
Situated along the Spokane River near downtown Spokane, Gonzaga is routinely recognized among the West’s best comprehensive regional universities.
Gonzaga offers 75 fields of study, 26 master’s degrees, doctorate degrees in leadership studies and nursing, and a juris doctor degree through the School of Law.
Pearlstein earns diploma at UV
Keelan Pearlstein of Sandpoint graduated with a bachelor of science degree in communication science & disorders during commencement ceremonies on May 22 at the University of Vermont.
The university conferred degrees this year on an estimated 2,937 graduates, including 2,329 bachelor’s, 388 master’s, 114 doctoral, and 106 M.D. degree recipients.
Among degree recipients were students from 42 states and 85 international students from 16 countries.
Pagano graduates University of Idaho
Nichole Pagano graduated from University of Idaho, College of Business and Economics with a degree in bachelor of science in business, marketing, in May 2016.
She earned her place on the university’s dean’s list in the College of Business and Economics for the spring semester of the 2015-2016 academic year having completed 12 or more graded credits with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Burgstahler named to SJU dean’s list
COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. — Matthew Burgstahler, son of Alison and Scott Burgstahler of Sandpoint, has earned the distinction of being named to the dean’s list for the 2016 spring semester at Saint John’s University.
Burgstahler is a sophomore individualized major at SJU.
To be included on the dean’s list, students must have a semester grade-point average of at least 3.80 and have completed 12 credits for which honor points (A, B, C, etc.) are awarded. Students included on the dean’s list cannot have any “unsatisfactory” or “incomplete” grades for that semester.
