Observations and lessons learned from a terminally ill man will be discussed at Lifetree Café at noon Monday, Aug. 8.

The program, titled “Facing a Terminal Illness: Insight’s From a Dying Man,” features a filmed interview with Richie Bertoletti — a cancer patient who chronicled his last days through artwork and dramatic storytelling.

“Right now, my life is still precious. It’s precious simply because I love people,” said Bertoletti. “After I go, if someone mentions my name and they have a smile on their face, that’s my immortality.”

Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Lifetree Café is located at Kokanee Coffee, 509 N. Fifth, Sandpoint.

Lifetree Café is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual, comfortable setting. Questions about Lifetree may be directed to Angela Reese at 208-597-7831.
