A dementia patient in the 1100 block of Division Avenue called 911 at 6:24 a.m.; care was transferred to medical staff

An officer facilitated the exchange of information at a non-reportable collision in the 200 block of Church Street at 9:27 a.m.

An officer assisted deputies on a call on Highway 95 at 9:24 a.m.

An officer responded to a report of a vehicle in the 200 block of Fourth Avenue at 10:44 a.m. having mechanical issues.

An employee in the 300 block of Fourth Avenue was trying to get an outside line and accidentally dialed 911 at 10:33 a.m.

Ethan T. Smith, 25, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 4200 block of Samuelson Avenue at 12:08 p.m. on charges of attempted strangulation and domestic battery.

A vehicle-versus-motorcycle accident was reported in the 400 block of Cedar Street at 12:25 p.m.; the motorcyclist sustained non-life threatening injuries.

A male in the 1000 block of Florence intercepted two subjects trying to siphon gas out of his vehicle at 12:36 p.m.

Officers provided traffic control for fire personnel in the 1300 block of Fir Street at 1:23 p.m.

An officer checked on a male in the 200 block of Halley Street after suicide threats at 4:51 p.m.

Vehicles playing loud music in the 1600 block of Spruce Street were gone when the officer arrived at 12:10 a.m.

Megan M. Stafford, 38, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the Baldy Mountain Road area at 12:33 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence (excessive).
