White spots on your teeth?

Do you have white spots on your teeth? Have you asked your dentist how to get rid of them? And if your dentist decides to treat your white spots, does he propose to use an invasive procedure or a non-invasive procedure? And if he has treated them, did it work to your satisfaction?

The unsightly white spots can be many or few, and they may be faint or very noticeable. You may not mind the largest spots, or you may be very critical of even the smallest spots. But if you do not want them to appear so noticeable, there is a non-invasive procedure that can make them not so noticeable — or even disappear completely. These white spots are just demineralization beneath your tooth enamel. Really they are porosities in your tooth enamel.

The most invasive treatments include veneers and/or crowns. But you may not have to go to that expense to get a result that is acceptable to you. You first need a proper diagnosis so that it can be determined what may work and what definitely will not work.

If the discolored area is soft, a filling, veneer, or a crown may be the only solution. But, if the discoloration is hard, we may be able to use a resin infiltration technique. This is a great treatment for reducing the noticeability of white spots without drilling or the need for anesthetic. The resin blends with the tooth color and reduces or eliminates the white spots. The resin fills and reinforces the demineralized area of these spots and is cured with a special light. We have used this procedure in our office successfully on many patients.

This resin infiltration procedure is a great way to reduce the noticeability of the white spots. It’s quick, it requires no anesthetic, and doesn’t even require any drilling. It is a very conservative procedure and can be used on patients of any age.

So if you are self-conscious about those white spots, come in for a free consultation and see if we can help you. Don’t suffer another day!

Chronic headaches now reach epidemic proportion

Having chronic headaches can severely disable an otherwise healthy individual. They can lower your activity level, drain your energy, and even make you irritable and depressed. As a result, both personal and professional relationships can be negatively affected. Your productivity can be severely limited. Chronic headache pain is one of the United States’ most prevalent health problems. According to the American Academy of Pain Medicine, 157 million days of work and school were lost last year due to debilitating chronic headache pain. What’s more, nearly everyone recently surveyed reported at least occasional recurring headache pain, with the number of chronic sufferers reaching over 45 million annually.

What happens when you snore?

The first thing that happens is that your bed partner, if you still have one, is irritated all the time due to sleep loss — usually one to two hours each night. The noise level can reach 80-100 decibels, which is the same noise a chainsaw makes. And, of course, this has health effects for both partners.
