BOUNDARY COUNTY -- The search for Aram Wade Dowell, 36, is still active according to Boundary County Sheriff’s Office.

The family’s last contact with Dowell was Dec. 16, 2015 and he was reported missing Dec. 22, 2015. Dowell’s mother, Candy Colvin, reported that he vanished shortly after a domestic dispute with his father-in-law, with several shots being fired in his direction.

"All leads have been followed, including the use of cadaver dogs in different areas in Boundary County. There were no indications of Mr. Dowell’s whereabouts. The family described it was uncommon for him (Dowell) to be out of contact with his children," according to BCSO Chief Deputy Rich Stephens.

Dowell stands 5 feet 9 inches and weighs approximately 140 pounds. He has a scar on his left eye and a tattoo on his upper right arm. If anyone has new information regarding his whereabouts, please contact the BCSO at 267-3151.
