OTHELLO — An Othello driver was involved in a 2-vehicle crash that left a Moses Lake woman injured Saturday at Highway 17 and Nelson Road in Moses Lake.
All vehicle occupants in the mid-morning collision were wearing their seat belts, the Washington Patrol reported, and neither alcohol nor drugs played a role.
Injured was Teresa Coria Cortez, 57. She was a passenger in a white 1997 Chevrolet Lumina driven by Jose Rojas Coria, 30, of Moses Lake. She was taken by ambulance to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake.
The collision occurred during a left turn attempt by Rojas Coria, who was northbound on 17. His Lumina was struck on the right side by a 2000 gold Ford R10 pickup southbound on 17. Both vehicles came to rest in the intersection.
The Ford R10 was driven by Donnie F. Hamilton, 39, of Othello. Hamilton was not injured. His pickup sustained reportable damage and was towed by Vista Service.
Rojas Coria was not hurt.
