Timothy O. Patterson, 58

Timothy O. Patterson, owner/operator of The Big Yellow Mobile Kitchen and longtime resident of Hauser Lake, Idaho, passed away peacefully in his home on Aug. 15, 2016, as a result of cancer. Tim is survived by his mother, Juanita; wife of 36 years Debra; sons Christopher, Nicholas and Joshua; daughters-in-law Rachel and Sophia; grandchildren Henry, Charlie, Ashlyn and Lyla; siblings Alan, Mike, Shelah, John, Ben, Jim, Steve and Sarah; mother-in-law Joan. He is predeceased by his dad, Joe. Tim was born on March 21, 1958, in Brawley, Calif., to Juanita and Joe Patterson. He grew up in southern California and attended Golden West College where he met Debbie, the love of his life. They moved to Hauser Lake, Idaho, in 1990 where they raised three sons that were his pride and joy. Tim was a devoted husband and father. He really appreciated the outdoors. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, kayaking, archery and bike riding. He was an excellent marksman.

Tim especially liked to peruse pawn shops for interesting finds. He was involved with numerous charities and community activities. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. A celebration of Tim's life will be held at the Word of Life Church in Newman Lake, Wash., 6703 N. Idaho Road, at 2 p.m. on Aug. 27, 2016.
