Cheree Hope Raugust was born on Sept. 1, 1927 in Spokane, Was. to Elroy and Hope Reinemer. Cheree was an only child. Cheree received her Elementary Education degree from Washington State University and later her bachelor’s degree. Cheree was an elementary teacher for the Moses Lake School District for many years before retiring. She loved teaching and felt each child was special in their own way. Cheree married the love of her life, William Raugust Jr., in Spokane, Wash. on Aug. 15, 1964. Cheree leaves behind a daughter and close friend, Maria Hartman and a great-granddaughter, Caden Essex.

“Mom, I’ll never forget our special chicken strip lunches, root beer floats, our talks, watching football and the love you showed to those around you. Caden is still dancing mom, so keep watching.” Special thanks to Summerwood Alzheimer’s Facility, Laurie Ahman and Chelsea LPN.
