ROYAL CITY — A 30-year-old Wenatchee woman was killed and four other persons were injured due to a one-vehicle rollover collision west of Royal City the evening of August 21.

Jaime Wilkinson was a passenger in a 2005 Acura MDX driven by Scott Wilkinson, 64 of Wenatchee. Scott Wilkinson was driving north when he lost control in the 12000 block of Beverly Burke Road Southwest around 6:30 p.m.

The Acura rolled twice, coming to rest on the northbound shoulder. Jaime Wilkinson was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car. She died at the scene.

Scott Wilkinson and three juveniles, ages 2-11, were all properly restrained and received minor injuries. They were all taken by ambulance to Samaritan Healthcare in Moses Lake.

Alcohol and drugs were not a factor, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Motor Traffic Unit, which continues to investigate.
