Gospel concert set for Riverside Community

DESERT AIRE — The Desert Praise Quartet will give a gospel concert at the Riverside Community Church in Desert Aire on Sunday, Aug. 28.
The concert will begin at 10 a.m. and admission will be free. However, there will be a collection passed for those desiring to give a gift to the quartet.
Riverside Community Church is located at 5 Desert Aire Dr. SW, in Desert Aire. This is just inside the main entrance to Desert Aire, on the west side of Highway 243, across from the gas station and motel.
Refreshments will be served after the worship concert.
Desert Praise Quartet is a southern gospel quartet out of Tri Cities. The members have been singing together for nine years and have sung in many places throughout the northwest.
Quartet members include Bill Nickless, Tenor; Richard Peterson, lead; Ben Sandford, baritone; Paul Daniel, Bass; Kern Kostenko, keyboards; and Rebecca Daniel, sound.
“They love to sing praises and songs about our loving God, and our soon coming King, Jesus,” Riverside Pastor Dennis Evans said.
The Quartet involves the audience in the music and asks the folks to sing along on songs they know.
