<p>Courtesy photo</p><p>The Coeur d'Alene Sting Timbers '07 girls soccer team finished with a 2-2 record at the River City Challenge. Sting goals were scored by Rachel Corrett, Natalie Thompson, Annabelle Rogers, Zayda Voigt, Skye Swick, Emma Singleton, Paige Hunt and Sofia Peressini.</p>

<p>Courtesy photo</p><p>The Club Inferno under-14 boys soccer team finished second in the River City Challenge. Logan Koller scored four goals on the weekend, and Jack Holloway scored a hat trick. Matt McLeod, Roman Smith and Alex Moate each scored two goals, and Tate Novak, Gabe Novak and Caleb Calkins also scored. Assits were made by Kyle Sater, Tate Novak, Matt McLeod, Alex Peters, Caleb Calkins and Ethan Johnson, and Josh Nilson posted two shutouts in goal. SWIMMING

Indoor swim lessons: Registration will begin Sept. 12 at 8 a.m. for the next six-week session of indoor swim lessons sponsored by the Coeur d’Alene Recreation Department and held at the McGrane Center.

Classes offered are Parent-Tot and 3-year-olds and above with different levels.

Classes are held on Monday or Wednesday evenings. Classes start Monday, Sept. 19 or Wednesday, Sept. 21. Classes are held in the evenings.

Registration will take place at the Coeur d’Alene City Hall Recreation Department, 710 Mullan Ave., starting at 8 a.m. Cost is $37.

There is limited registration. No pre-registration is allowed.
