SANDPOINT — Four Sandpoint players earned prestigious soccer honors recently, as the Idaho High School Soccer Coaches Association announced its all-state teams.
Senior forward Dawson Mulder, who was virtually unstoppable in the attack with a team-high 24 goals, joined senior midfielder Charlie Crane, who scored four goals and dished out 10 assists, on the small school (non-5A) team. The two were key reasons the Bulldogs went to state, and their play was recognized by coaches from around the state.
Sophomore Jezza Hutto and senior Taylor Ward were both recognized, earning two of the four spots on the girls state team. Hutto finished the season with four goals and five assists, but it was her and Ward’s defense at state that helped lead the Bulldogs into the championship game.
