Fire damages, an estimated $15,000

A fire at a local apartment complex cost an estimated $15,000 in damages when the resident left items on the heating register.
At 6 p.m. on Nov. 25, the Libby Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fire at Plaza Apartments. The fire, contained to the bathroom, was extinguished in 45 minutes.
Two engines, one command and one ladder truck responded to the scene.
While the apartment was occupied at the time, no injuries were reported.
