Is it true that you survived Black Friday and Cyber Monday and yet you still have names on your holiday gift list that haven’t been checked off? Well, Pend Oreille Arts Council has just the solution for you.

POAC’s annual Pop-Up Holiday Craft and Art Sale will be held at the Columbia Bank Community Plaza (that’s the one at the corner of Third and Oak, not the bank building) from 1 to 4 p.m. today. Refreshments will be served.

“We have several local artists lined up to sell everything from greeting cards to fine art paintings,” said POAC’s Art Administrator Hannah Combs. “Many are selling small items, reasonably priced with Christmas in mind.”

“There will be ornaments, hand-calligraphed cards, metal sculptures, framed photographs and figurines as well as original oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings. From yard art to wall art there will be something for that hard-to-buy-for friend or family member,” Combs said.

If you’re looking for that unique piece of art as a gift for another or perhaps for yourself, a trip downtown should be on your calendar for Saturday. Come to POAC’s Pop-Up Holiday Craft and Art Sale before heading to local downtown businesses and the evening’s ArtWorks reception.
