Prep roundup: 6 Chiefs make all-league for girls soccer

Moses Lake was rewarded for coming one win shy of a state tournament berth with six selections to the Columbia Basin Big Nine all-league soccer team.
Forward Abby Rathbun made the first team.
Forward Denali Knowles, midfielder Morgan Skone and defender Taya Rogers were named to the second team.
Defenders Madelyn Balsz and Cora Bruneel were honorable mention.
West Valley's Natalie Nagle was the Player of the Year and John Schubert was the Coach of the Year.
5 Moses Lake harriers all-league
Moses Lake girls cross country runner Carlie Gregg made the first team; Mikayla Copper was honorable mention.
The Chiefs had three second-team selections for the boys: Zachery Owens, Joshua Cooper and Zakary Bishop.
Eisenhower dominated the postseason awards with the Runner of the Year on both sides — Ronan Price and Erica Simison.
Eisenhower's Phil English and Davis' Jose Garcia was the Coach of the Year for the boys and girls, respectively.

Sophomore middle hitter Yasmin Shateri made the first team; senior middle hitter Elly Johnson was second team.
