Northwest Nazarene volleyball
Farrell, a 6-foot-2 junior middle blocker from Lake City High, was named a first-team All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Associated (AVCA) on Wednesday. Farrell, who was an honorable mention last season, became Northwest Nazarene’s first volleyball player to be named to the first team at the NCAA level. She led the Crusaders with 143 blocks this season, including 24 solo blocks and was second on the team with 368 kills this season. Northwest Nazarene finished 21-8, losing in the semifinals of the Division II West Regional tournament to Alaska-Anchorage.
Caelyn Orlandi
Lewis-Clark State basketball
Orlandi, a 5-9 senior guard from Coeur d’Alene High, is averaging 13.3 points, 4.2 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game for the Warriors (13-0), who entered this week’s NAIA poll as the second ranked team in the nation. Orlandi has started all 13 of the team’s games this season.

Lewis-Clark State basketball
Litalien, a 5-7 shooting guard from Post Falls High, is averaging 11.7 points per game, with a .471 average from beyond the 3-point line (32 of 68) for the Warriors (13-0).
