Dale went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016. He was born on Aug. 2, 1937, in Valley City, N.D.

He served his country by enlisting in the Army in July 1957, then in the Air Force in January 1959. He was stationed at several U.S. bases, as well as Spain in 1963 and Vietnam in 1969.

He married his wife, Joanne on Dec. 30, 1973. Together they were active in starting food banks to feed the hungry. He was a faithful contributor to programs that helped others in need. He loved animals (especially Cassy, his service companion) and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Emmet Bowe; brother Glen; and sisters Mary Ellen and Mae. He is survived by his wife, Joanne; daughters Anna and Dorothy; sons Jay and Ray; brothers Jim and Don; sister Betty; along with eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
