Faye Irene Brumbaugh, 78

Faye Irene Brumbaugh, 78, passed away Dec. 4, 2016, at Hospice House in Hayden, Idaho. She was born on Nov. 12, 1938, in Crandon, Wis., to Ermin and Bertha Bailey. She attended school in the Kellogg area and was raised on Smelter Heights. She married David H. Brumbaugh of Twisp, Wash., in 1955 and they remained married for 54 years. David passed away in 2009.

Faye was a homemaker until her kids started school and then worked in housekeeping and dietary throughout her life. She enjoyed bingo, going to garage sales, going to the casino and spending time with family.

Survivors include: brothers Clyde Bailey of Osburn, Idaho, Bill Bailey of Harrison, Ark., and Don Bailey of Spokane, Wash.; children Robert (Debra) Brumbaugh of Rathdrum, Idaho, Cheryl Brown of Post Falls, Idaho, Steve (Diane) Brumbaugh of Park City, Mont., and Randy (Sarah) Brumbaugh of Athol, Idaho; nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Faye was preceded in death by her husband, David; her brothers, Glenn and Claude Bailey; her sister, Athlene Bewick and her parents, Ermin and Bertha.
