Brad Barlow was recently called to be Bishop of the newly formed Post Falls 5th Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Boundaries were adjusted to accommodate the rapid growth of The Church in this area, which resulted in adding and organizing the new Ward.
Bishop Barlow and his wife, Kalynne, have lived in the area for the past 12 years and are parents of five children. He’s originally from Lehi, Utah, where he was raised and graduated from high school. He served a two-year mission to the Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Mission. He graduated from the University of Utah and the University of Iowa in the field of dentistry. Dr. Barlow is a Pediatric Dentist and is self-employed by Little Smiles Pediatric Dentistry.
Bishop Barlow’s First Counselor is Brent Ditto. Brent and his wife, Deena, have lived in the area for the past six years and are parents of five children. Brent is originally from Phoenix, Ariz., and was raised in several states across the country. He graduated from Crook County High School in Prineville, Ore., and then served his two-year mission to the Portugal Lisbon South Mission. Brent received his B.S. degree in health care administration and his MBA in business administration from the Oregon State University. He works in Pharmaceutical Production and is employed by ALK Source Materials.
Zach Dalton will serve as 2nd Counselor. Zach and his wife, Kellie, have lived in the area for the past 25 years and are the parents of four daughters. He was born in Logan, Utah, but raised in Big Fork, Mont., and graduated from Big Fork High School. Zach graduated from the Technical Trade School in Kalispel and has worked in the Telecom Industry for the past 30 years. He is employed by Cerium.
Post Falls 5th Ward Executive Secretary is Richard Clark and the Ward Clerk is Dale DuRee. The Ward meets each Sunday at 9 a.m. at the McGuire Building located at 1670 N. McGuire Road, Post Falls.
