Financial Adviser Doug Rupiper, CFP, has been named to take over the downtown Coeur d’Alene Edward Jones at 211 E. Coeur d’Alene Ave.
Rupiper has 22 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Angela Austin with Windermere Coeur d’Alene Realty has been awarded the Accredited Buyer’s Representation designation by the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council of the National Association of Realtors.
Austin joins more than 30,000 real estate professionals in North America who have earned the ABR designation. All were required to successfully complete a comprehensive course in buyer representation and an elective course focusing on a buyer representation specialty, both in addition to submitting documentation verifying professional experience.

The Coeur d’Alene Chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors announced the winners of three prestigious chapter awards at its annual banquet held at the Hayden Lake Country Club.
Janna Rankin Scharf, associate broker at Keller Williams Realty Coeur d’Alene, was recognized as the Entrepreneur of the Year. This annual award recognizes a Realtor member who fully exercises their potential as an entrepreneur and real estate industry leader; and who shares their time, talent and expertise with others in the profession and in the community. Scharf is eligible to represent the chapter on state and national levels.
Antigone Twidt, Coldwell Baker Schneidmiller Realty, was awarded the chapter Realtor Member of the Year. Twidt, a past chapter president, was recognized for her continuing service as a resource to local leadership and membership.
Jennifer Riley, business development representative at First American Title Co., was presented the Affiliate Member of the Year award for her involvement and ongoing service to the chapter.
The Coeur d’Alene Chapter was established in 2003 to be the source of education and business tools focused on the needs of women Realtor entrepreneurs at all stages of development.

During the banquet, the Coeur d’Alene Network of the Women Council of Realtors’ officers were named.
Carol Curtis, associate broker at Century 21 RiverStone, was installed as 2017 president.
The Coeur d’Alene Network is a professional real estate group affiliated with WCR, a national professional development organization with 11,000 members. It welcomes men and women in the real estate industry and associated professions.
Installed as 2017 president-elect is Diane Kamphaus, ABR, of Professional Realty Services Idaho.
Melissa Heinen of Lakeshore Realty was sworn in as 2017 Secretary.
Marilyn Buroker, RE Ops Manager/MLO at Mountain West Bank was installed into the office of Treasurer for a second year.
Jennifer Jenkins, Business Development Representative at Pioneer Title Company, was sworn in to the office of Membership Committee Chair.
