SPANGLE, Wash. — Jake Sieler scored 31 points, hitting 4 of 5 from beyond the 3-point line in the second quarter as the Lumberjacks beat the Lancers.
“In the first quarter, we just shot terrible (1 of 10) and I told the guys we’d played our worst quarter of the year,” said St. Maries coach Bryan Chase, whose team trailed 10-5 after the first quarter. “Jake just caught fire and the final three quarters were the best we’ve played. When Jake gets his shot going, it really helps to get our bigs going.”
