The ability to give a few gifts this Christmas would really brighten one lonely woman's holiday.

She recently experienced the devastating death of her partner, who was everything to her.

"I just lost my best friend and companion of 20 years," she told Press Christmas for All. "He was the love of my life."

Disabled and homebound, she doesn't have a way to get out in the community to be around people and fill her days with the company of friends. She has only one family member near to help with errands and dissolve the loneliness for a little while.

"My adult daughter is my only family around," she said, sharing that she is thankful her daughter takes her to appointments, grocery shopping and wherever else she needs to go for the day.

This woman's only means of income are Social Security and a little bit of food stamps. With a heavy heart and a void in her life, all she wants is to surprise her daughter with a little something for Christmas.

"I just don't have anything extra to give this year," she said.
