—Photo by CAROLINE LOBSINGER Sandpoint Wild Horse Trail Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution honored a group of 17 Vietnam veterans at the Elks Lodge in Ponderay on Oct. 22, 2016. The veterans were presented with a certificate of appreciation and a commemorative Vietnam lapel pin. Also honoring these veterans was a color guard provided by the Young Marines, out of Post Falls, which is a national youth organization. The guest speaker was Dee Sasse (Ret.
