Othello handbell choir to present annual concert

OTHELLO — The Othello Christian Church Handbell Choir will present its annual Christmas concert Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 7 p.m. at the church.

The choir will perform traditional seasonal pieces. Also performing will be Mauricio Rodriguez, solo ringer, and an instrumental ensemble of middle school students.

They include McKenzie Fultz, Clarinet; Phoenix Janes, Trumpet and Naomi Purdy, Saxophone. They will perform “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” accompanied by the handbell choir.

Vocalist Amber Johnson and flautist Liz Deasy will perform “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” with the choir. Handbell choir Director George Roper will perform a bell tree solo of “We Three Kings, accompanied by Carol Roper on the piano.

The church is located at the corner of Ninth and Rainier, just behind Hiawatha Elementary School.
