Santa to visit Schweitzer
For the Herald | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 8 years, 3 months AGO
Santa might have to circumnavigate the world during the night on Christmas Eve, but that doesn’t mean he can’t get some turns in at Schweitzer Resort during the day.
This Saturday, Dec. 24, Santa will strap on his skis and lead a balloon parade to the village from the top of the Basin Express chairlift. This is a great photo opportunity and is free for the whole family. Please arrive by 1:45 p.m. in order to get a balloon and be part of the group photo. The parade will leave at 2 p.m. to ski down Midway, and arrives in the village a few minutes later. Beginner skiers are welcome, but must be able to turn and stop. At 3 p.m., Santa will be in the Selkirk Lodge lobby to hear last minute wishes from all the kids, young and old.
