Prep roundup: Moses Lake crashes boards, beats Meadowdale

WENATCHEE — Moses Lake controlled the rebounds and beat Meadowdale 63-51 at the Town Toyota Center in Wenatchee.
The Chiefs finished with a 27-18 rebounding edge, led by seven boards apiece from Ryan Karstetter and Gio Walker.
Karstetter also led the Chiefs with 20 points.
Moses Lake led by as much as 15 points before Meadowdale closed the first half on an 11-2 run.
Cory Kunjara and Zach Phillips scored 12 and 10 points, respectively. Evan McLean and Jordan Evers had eight points each.
Moses Lake plays Lake Stevens today in Wenatchee at 1 p.m.
Connell 81, Othello 75 (OT)
CONNELL — Othello sent the game to overtime with a free throw with six seconds left, but the comeback went incomplete as Connell won 81-75.
Jonathan Garza scored a team-high 19 points; Kyler Villarreal added 16.

Moses Lake 53, Camas 46
WENATCHEE — Moses Lake outlasted Camas 53-46 at the Town Toyota Center in Wenatchee.
The Chiefs outscored the Papermakers in three out of four quarters, but could not pull away.
Jamie Loera and Jessica Olson scored 15 and 13 points, respectively.
Moses Lake plays Class 3A state placer Lynwood today at 11 a.m.
Connell 55, Othello 35
CONNELL — Macy Hampton scored 21 points, but Othello fell to Connell in a non-league game 55-35.
Janissa Garza and Alexis Coronado scored five and four points, respectively.
Gissele Monroy and Amayeli Diaz scored two points each.
