WHITEFISH — Whitefish professional slopestyle skier Maggie Voisin and Whitefish Mountain Resort will be holding a “Ski with Maggie” day and autograph signing today on Big Mountain.

Voisin, who finished second at the Dew Tour in Breckenridge, Colorado, earlier this month, will be hitting the slopes on her trip home from the holidays.

Skiers will meet at the top of Chair 2 on Whitefish Mountain Resort from 1-2:30 p.m., followed by an autograph session at Ed & Mully’s at 3 p.m.

This will be one of the last trips home this season for Voisin, who is set to compete in the X Games next month in Aspen, Colorado, and in March in Oslo, Norwa, along with U.S. Freeskiing competitions in between. The Dew Tour was the first major event this season, with Voisin coming from behind on the second day of competition to finish second.

Voisin finished last season as the top American slopestyle skier in the world, finishing sixth overall despite only competing in part of the season after recovering from injury. She is among the favorites to finish at the top of the world standings this year and is one of the world’s best in Big Air, an event that will be added to the Winter Olympics in 2018.
