Fire Chief of the Ferndale Volunteer Fire Department Ken Sharr shovels snow from in front of the doors at the fire station on Monday morning, Feb. 1. Sharr said due to the height of the height of the vehicles, if there is even a small mound of snow the trucks can hit the top of the garage, keeping the space clear is everyone's responsibility.
