Germann leaving Glacier Park

Glacier National Park’s Public Information Officer Denise Germann will be leaving the Park soon to take the same position at Grand Teton National Park and the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway. Germann was gone on a work detail in Grand Teton for several months last year. She will start her new permanent duties in Grand Teton on Feb. 22. Germann has 28 years of experience working for the National Park Service and the U.S. Forest Service. She was the spokesperson for the Flathead National Forest for seven years prior to coming to Glacier in 2011.
Her previous experience also includes public affairs officer on the Flathead National Forest in Montana, supervisory chief ranger at Homestead National Monument in Nebraska, and public affairs officer on the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests in Colorado and Wyoming.
