PLAINS – The Plains Trotters claimed a strong win over the Two Eagle Lady Eagles for their last game of the regular season.

The Trotters leapt out to an early lead in the first half gaining a strong lead in the first quarter. Their defense kept the home team back and under 10 points throughout both quarters. Meanwhile, the girls pushed their score higher and higher as the timers ticked down. The first half came to a close with a score of 31-6.

In the second half, Two Eagle’s girls broke through the Plains defense, bringing in more points. The Trotters kept up their own strong offense, though, and maintained their strong lead. When the buzzer rang, the final score was 60-34.

Kimberly Earhart led the Plains team in baskets, bringing in 12 points. Lily Heunink was close behind as the second highest scorer with nine.
