Council schedules working meeting

The Libby City Council has a working meeting scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, in the council chambers of Libby City Hall.

The meeting notice, posted Friday, Feb. 19, lists four topics of discussion for the meeting: the assignment of committee positions, a change in ordinance to set a mandatory second meeting of the month, the hiring of independent counsel to provide advice to the City Council and a review of proposed changes to the city’s water policy.

The posted agenda does not set aside time for public comment.
