Bigfork/Ferndale Community Garden is holding a workshop with guest speaker Bill Clanton on Saturday, March 12 at 10 a.m.

A long time farmer and owner of Fresh Farms, Clanton will discuss seed selection, soil prep, weeds and frost protection. Deer control, gophers, voles and other pests round out the workshop on growing a successful garden. The Community Garden will also be accepting gardeners who wish to purchase a plot for the upcoming gardening season. Details will be available at the workshop.

As always, the workshop will be held at St Patrick’s Episcopal Church across from the Ferndale Fire Dept. on Montana 209 at the blinking light. Enter through the big red doors off the parking lot. Call Michelle at 837-0982 with any questions.  Free and open to the public.
