SANDPOINT — Mayor Carrie Logan said farewell to eight years of public service Wednesday, to a crowd of about 50 people. She has served the last two years as mayor of Sandpoint.

"This is a wonderful team to work with," Logan said of city staff and leaders. "They are dedicated, passionate and proud of what they do."

During her time on the council and as mayor, she said she lost a couple of battles including flouride in the water and having the Public Works and Administration subcommittees.

But not all battles were lost and she said she is proud of many accomplishments.
