KPAX-TV was restored to Dish Network satellite subscribers on Sunday after a contract dispute was resolved between the station’s parent company and the satellite provider.

For Flathead Valley viewers, KPAX and a CW station had been dark since Thursday.

Both Dish and Cordillera Communications announced a new multiyear contract deal on Sunday.

The two companies had been at an impasse over retransmission fees, the cost Cordillera charges Dish Network to retransmit its signal in the Cordillera markets.

The blackout had affected Cordillera stations including KPAX (a CBS affiliate) and six other Montana TV stations as well as stations in six other states.
