Judgment withheld in assault case

SANDPOINT — A Sagle man accused of firing a pistol at a woman and a teenager during a argument last fall was granted a withheld judgment Monday due to a diagnosis of a life-threatening medical condition.

Mark Arthur Johnson was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, use of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of methamphetamine in connection with the Oct. 14, 2015, altercation at a Lakeshore Drive residence.
