BIGFORK — Joseph Potkonjak scored seven points in the fourth quarter, including a pair of key free throws, to help Bigfork slip by Thompson Falls in a tightly contested District 7B basketball contest.

Potkonjak finished with 13 points.

George Gibson led Bigfork (10-0 overall, 4-0 district) in scoring with 14 points. Anders Epperly added 11.

Trais Hoisington tallied 16 to pace Thompson Falls.

Bigfork led Thompson Falls 15-14, 27-24, 40-36 at the end of the first, second and third quarters.

Bigfork is back in action with a nonconference game on Saturday at Florence.
