ONTARIO, Ore. — Offense was on full display in Ontario, Ore.

One day removed from a 90-85 win over Blue Mountain, Big Bend men’s basketball thumped Treasure Valley 110-60. Against the Chukars, Mogga Lado was unstoppable, making 12 of 13 shots. Lado’s efficiency was good for a game-high 25 points, 12 rebounds, one block and two steals.

Ryker Pierce, Leo Behrend, Jai Jai Ely, Keshawn Liggins and Wyatt Johnson also reached double figures.

The two wins helped Big Bend (3-0, 13-6) keep pace with Spokane in the NWAC East.

Big Bend outscored Treasure Valley by 21 points in the first half and 19 points in the second half, shooting 60.6 percent from the field.

The Runnin’ Vikes clamped down defensively and held the Chukars to 32.3 percent shooting.

The trio of Pierce, Lado and Liggins helped Big Bend hang on against Blue Mountain. Pierce poured in 31 points, Lado scored 20 and Liggins added 21.

Ephrata native Gunnar Blankenship scored three points for the Timberwolves.
