GIRLS BASKETBALL: Valkyries blast Florence for easy road win

FLORENCE — The Bigfork girls pulled away early to earn a 60-32 nonconference win over Florence Saturday night.

Miranda Campbell had 14 points and 11 rebounds and Lana Berg 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Valkyries, who led 11-4 after the first quarter and 30-11 at half. Jaime Berg scored 12 points for Bigfork.

Haile Norred scored nine points off the Vals' bench.

Ally Rust and Danielle Zahn each had seven points to lead Florence.

The Valkyries will host Libby on Friday at 6 p.m. in a return to District 7B action.
