Celebrate the season at the Lakeside Winterfest this weekend.

There will be ice skating at the Lakeside Town Center. Hours are from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Chili and s’mores will be available Friday and Saturday at the Farmhouse and Seven, next to the ice skating rink.

Take in an outdoor movie. Showtime is 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Lakeside Town Center.

Events on Saturday kick off with a pancake breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. at the Lakeside Chapel. Up at Blacktail Mountain Ski Area, the family cup races get under from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Registration is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The awards ceremony is at 4 p.m.

Tamarack Brewing is putting on an all-day pig roast Saturday with live music by 20 Grand Live starting at 7 p.m. The Winterfest raffle drawing will be held at 8:30 p.m.

Sunday is Doggy Ski Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Blacktail Mountain.
