WRESTLING: Braves 6th in latest Class AA poll

Fresh off a crosstown rout of Glacier, the Flathead wrestlers are ranked sixth in the state in the latest Class AA poll.
The Braves also have seven individuals ranked at their respective weights, including top-ranked Trae Vasquez, the defending 113-pound state champion, at 120 pounds and fellow sophomore Payton Hume at 138.
Logan Wilson checks in third at 182 pounds, and three Braves are ranked fourth: Hunter Rush (103), Tucker Nadeau (160) and Payton Boyce (205). Junior Matt Gash-Gilder, who missed the first half of the season with an illness, is ranked sixth at 170.
Glacier’s Justin Gibson is also in the top five this week, coming in fourth at 126 pounds.
Missoula Sentinel maintains the top spot in the team poll, followed by Billings Skyview, Billings Senior, Great Falls and Bozeman.
Flathead and Glacier are competing in the Great Falls Duals today.

MISSOULA — Glacier Wolfpack softball had a productive day against Missoula teams, first routing Big Sky 25-0 and then edging Sentinel 4-3 on Thursday in Western AA play.
