Simon Fraser wrestling match canceled due to injuries

COEUR d’ALENE — The NIC home wrestling match against Simon Fraser University scheduled for Wednesday evening was canceled because of numerous injuries to both teams. It will not be rescheduled. The normal schedule will resume at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at the Apadaca Duals in Powell, Wyo.

Coaches to give updates at NIC Booster Club meeting today

COEUR d’ALENE — NIC coaches will provide season updates at the North Idaho College Booster Club Luncheon at noon today at the Coeur d’Alene Resort.

NIC coaches will give reports on the winter sport seasons, including the clash with Salt Lake Community College in the battle for first place on Thursday. The NIC men’s basketball team, ranked No. 4 in the NJCAA poll, is currently 23-0. The women’s basketball team is 17-4 and ranked No. 25.

The public is welcome to attend the luncheon. The NIC Booster Club meets on the second and last Tuesday of the month at noon. Information: (208) 769-3348
