PLAINS – Rocky Mountain Bank in Plains just completed renovations to their drive-thru area, improving the quality of service customers receive when they use it.
The new drive-thru looks the same on the outside, but the machines have been updated and the software linked to the lobby itself. According to Lisa, of the RMB Plains office, customers will now be put in touch directly with the bankers in the lobby. This is expected to speed up the interactions in the drive-thru as customers work directly with the bank’s employees.
The staff is still getting used to the new system and expect there to be a small learning curve with the new machines.
“It takes a little getting used to, looking at the new screens,” Lisa said.
RMB expects there may be added wait times as customers and the staff become accustomed to the new system and ask for people’s patients during the transition.
“It could make traffic more difficult, so there could be a bit of a wait,” Lisa said.
There are currently Open signs above the two operational machines. The hope is that this will help customers identify which ones to drive into and speed some of the process.
