On June 18, 2016, Diane Sheryl (Moser) Johnson passed away from complications of COPD at her home in Rathdrum, Idaho.

Diane was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to Alfred and Ottilia “Tillie” (Bitterman) Moser on Sept. 13, 1947. She attended Coeur d’Alene High School.

Diane worked as a home care CNA as well as many other jobs, but was mostly a stay-at-home mom and devoted grandmother. She loved playing bingo and spending time with her family. Diane enjoyed going on road trips with her husband, Dick, when he worked as a commercial trucker and occasionally drove the trucks herself. Diane liked keeping in touch with her extended family and many friends on her Facebook page. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.

Diane is survived by her sister, Anna (Bill) Van Valkinburgh; brothers Jimmy (Charlene) Moser, Mike (Lorene) Moser and Mark (Claire) Moser; son Steven Moser; grandchildren Tyler, Cody and Kalie Sue; two great-grandchildren; and step-children Delena (Johnson) Smith, Kellie Johnson and Sonja Christiansen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Arvid Johnson; her mother and father; sisters Shirley Jean (Moser) West, Gloria Jean (Jimmy) House and Carolyn Eva Moser; and sister-in-law Charlene (Truitt) Moser.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016, at the Prairie Cowboy Church, 8311 N. Idaho Road, Newman Lake, Wash., on the corner of Trent and Idaho Road. For more information contact Steven Moser at (208) 625-9798.
