Pete Christensen's lead up to half a point

ROYAL CITY — There is one week to go in the Thursday Night Men’s League at the Royal Golf Course, and the battle for first place is still between Pete Christensen and Sean Vetterick.
It is neck-and-neck. Christensen lengthened the lead from half a player point three points in week 11, but Vetterick closed it back to one point in week 12. It should be an interesting finish.
There is an even bigger battle for third place. Jeremy Russell was at the top of a group of seven challengers with 68.00 PP. Kyle Haugen was at the bottom with 61.00.
The rest of that group was Kyle Scroggins, 67.50; Josh Scroggins, 66.50; Bob Murphy, 65.50; Patrick Dorsing, 64.50; and Andrew Perkins, 63.50.
Haugen jumped into the third place race with a gross 44 that netted 36 and 10 player points.
Russell made a big jump in week 12, going from seventh place to third place on the strength of a gross score 45 that netted 36.
Sean Vetterick and Josh Scroggins posted the best gross score of week at 38. Perkins, PatricDorsing and Kyle Scroggins had 39.
Low net for the week, 32, was turned in by Vetterick and Josh Scroggins. Perkins and Kyle Scroggins shot 33.
