Word of Life Christian Center will host the ministry of Jake Van Buren at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 10. Van Buren is a 2015 graduate of Rhema Bible College. Growing up as a “PK” (preacher’s kid), he has developed a unique perspective concerning church life and serving God as a young man.

Bethany Lutheran plans outdoor worship service

Bethany Lutheran Church in Bigfork is hosting its second outdoor worship service of the summer at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, July 10, followed by a potluck picnic. In case of inclement weather, worship and the picnic will be held indoors at the church. Bethany Lutheran is located at 8559 Montana 35, just south of Bigfork. All are welcome.

Women’s group will hear about healing

The Kalispell Women’s Connection is hosting a buffet luncheon on July 19 at 11:30 a.m. at Victory Baptist Church, 1830 Montana 35.

The luncheon will cost $8 per person and will feature a presentation by Katy Branston of Habitat for Humanity. The program will also include a speech by Karen Blankenship, a speaker and author from Kansas City, called “Life Hurts.” She shares how you can work through the scars in your life and begin to heal from the inside out.

Reservations are requested. Child care will be available. Donations for the local food bank also will be accepted.
