RIGHTS: Amendments are equal

In response to the eloquent diatribe written by the Liningers: First, the 14th Amendment to the Constitution provides equal protections to those American citizens who are members of the LGBTQ community. Here is the text as proof:
“No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”
When you preach about exercising your Second Amendment rights, you must also recognize and follow the equal protections clause of the 14th Amendment which allows citizens of all races, religions and sexual orientations protection under the law.
Being gay is not a choice. Why would one “choose” to be hated, choose to be attacked by ignorant people who claim they are making a choice, choose to be alienated from their families, choose to have a higher chance of being sexually assaulted? A 2010 CDC study states, 61 percent of queer women have been sexually assaulted compared to 35 percent of straight women. The FBI’s hate crime statistics from 2015 also show that hate crimes due to sexual orientation are the second most prevalent, trailing only racially motivated ones.
The murder of Christians, child slavery and pedophilia are unrelated to LGBTQ rights. Please don’t twist my words for your own agenda of hatred. Furthermore, Google “ad hominem” and avoid it in the future.
