Two alleged methamphetamine dealers may face up to life in prison and up to $50,000 fines for allegedly selling more than 2 ounces of meth for $5,100 in January and February 2014.
Krystal Marie Orman, 30, was charged with three felonies of criminal distribution of dangerous drugs and felony criminal distribution of dangerous drugs on, or near school property. Bail was set at $50,000.
Robert Stokes, 33, was charged with felony accountability to criminal distribution of dangerous drugs on or near school property and felony accountability to criminal distribution of dangerous drugs. His bail was set at $25,0000.
Charges were filed June 23 in Flathead County District Court.
According to court documents, someone met with Orman on Jan. 16, 2014, and purchased approximately 12 grams of meth for $1,200 and discussed future transactions.
On Jan. 27, 2014, Orman and the person met in a parking lot in Kalispell, where she reportedly took approximately 7 grams of meth from her bra in exchange for $700.
Another transaction allegedly took place on Feb. 7, 2014, when the pair met in Lakeside at Orman’s request. Orman reportedly got out of her vehicle along with Stokes and both got into the back of the person’s vehicle. The person drove to a secluded parking lot at Orman’s request, located about 60 feet from an elementary school. Stokes then handed a deli bag containing smaller bags of suspected meth to Orman. A transaction of a total of 14.8 grams of methamphetamine was sold for $1,200, court records indicated.
The final transaction occurred on Feb. 21, 2014, when Orman called the person and requested they meet at a state park in Lakeside. She told the person she would be hitchhiking near the location and to pick her up, according to court documents. She was picked up and headed southbound on U.S. 93. Orman said she and Stokes “were no longer together,” but he supplied the drugs for the transaction. Orman handed over an ounce of suspected meth in exchange for $2,000 and again discussed future transactions.
All drugs were seized and shipped to the Drug Enforcement Agency lab for analysis.
