Flathead County Sheriff’s Office advised a man who reported the “Mexican mafia will be coming after his family.” The man’s brother had called the Sheriff’s Office earlier to report the same thing, stating that his brother had been working “against a cartel,” and that members from the cartel were going to show up and “kill his whole family.”

A man said his Smith and Wesson 24-magazine was stolen from his Subaru. He said the doors were locked, but believed someone used their Subaru key to get in. He said the stainless steel gun had a custom-made Galco brown leather holster.

After allegedly calling 911 by accident, a woman refused to tell a dispatcher where she lived. “It is my home, it is my phone. You work for me, I pay my taxes. I’m sorry, have a good day,” the woman allegedly told the dispatcher before hanging up.

Officers searched for a man who allegedly tried to pull a woman out of her vehicle and smashed her phone. A passerby saw the exchange and called for help.

A man reported his wallet, pool stick and darts were stolen from his car after he left his windows down and his keys inside the vehicle throughout the night. He said his keys also were stolen.

A person reported two people allegedly were snorting cocaine in the car in a parking lot. The caller said they heard “snorting sounds,” looked over toward the sound’s direction and the people making the noise said, “Oh no” when they saw they were being watched.

A person called for help when she realized three pigs somehow had gotten into her neighbor’s field and were making her neighbor’s horses “uncomfortable.”

Whitefish Police advised a couple who went into a casino and left their 6-month-old baby in the car that it wasn’t OK to leave their child alone in a vehicle, “even for two minutes.”

A woman reported there was a “squatter” who made a camp near her house. She said the man was allegedly a “tweaker,” meaning she believed he was a heavy meth user who was tripping out. After investigating, police discovered the man was camping on his parents’ property and had a right to be there.

Columbia Falls Police advised a woman to contact her lawyer about a civil issue when she told them a co-worker fell out of her car. The woman said she was giving her co-worker a ride to work and allegedly warned the passenger that if she leaned on the passenger door it would come open. The driver said the co-worker was leaning on the door without wearing a seatbelt when they turned a corner and she fell out. The driver called police when the fallen co-worker began asking about insurance.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s officers searched for six men who allegedly left a bar in Libby and were throwing beer bottles at rocks in the street.

A Lower Thompson Lake camper called for help when she allegedly learned that another camper’s preteen son had handcuffed her 9-year-old granddaughter. The woman told officers the boy had a machete, handcuffs and a rope and had taken her granddaughter into the bushes. She said the boy’s family had left by the time she made the call.

A woman reported a scam artist called her and said she had won a trip to a Disney theme park with all the meals included. The woman said she didn’t need help, she just wanted the public to know.
