The Libby Loggers, 5-2 in their last seven outings, will look to end their regular season this week and may head into the district tournament with some momentum that was missing during the first half of the season.

The Libby Loggers American Legion Baseball team, 10-23 overall, will continue the final six-game stretch of its regular season tonight at 5:05 with a double-header against the Glacier Twins A team at Lee Gehring Field.

In their last meeting, the Loggers defeated the Twins 8-3 with 10 hits on the Glacier Team, led by Seth Bateman’s 4-for-4 batting and two runs.

The Loggers this week are also preparing for a double-header against the Clark Fork Cougars for a non-conference match up at 6 p.m. on Thursday at Lee Gehring Field.

On Saturday, Libby will conclude its conference season with a double-header against the Missoula Mavericks A team at 6 p.m. at Lee Gehring Field.
