Mirror Lake golf league completes 10 weeks of play

In week #8 the game of the day was a team event with Blanche Studer and Elaine Morgan winning low net with a score of 84 and Suzanne Cullinane and Julie Williams winning with a low gross of 103. On Wednesday morning the winning team was Linda Rupley, Linda Bogdan, Jeannie Richards and Elaine Morgan with a low net of 37. Therese Helmer had the low gross score of 49 and low net of 37. Linda Bogdan had least putts with 15.

Therese Helmer had a birdie on hole #4 and

Elaine Morgan had a chip in on hole #6.

Week #9 was Ace of the month with Gerry Ann Howlett winning on Tuesday evening and Karen English winning on Wednesday morning.

Karen had a gross score of 47 and a net score of 33.

In week #10 of the Mirror Lake Ladies Golf the game of the day was Honesty. In the Tuesday evening group Elaine Morgan was the winner with a low net of 40 and Evelyn Rae had a chip in on hole #7.

In the Wednesday morning group Beverly Comegy was the winner of honesty game coming in one stroke below her estimated score.

Low gross of the day was Therese Helmer and low net of the day was Maureen Blackmore with a net of 40.

Anne Bonar had the least number of putts with 14.

The Mirror Lake Ladies Golf meets every Tuesday evening at 5:00 pm and Wednesday mornings at 8:00 am.

You can play either day or both. New members are always welcome.

It is unbelievable that this semester is almost over. One half a year almost completed? Where does the time go? I know where a lot of it went. It went to helping our community, competing, participating in various events and generally being great people and citizens.
